I find myself attracted to certain kinds of covers. Covers are, after all, the way the publisher ‘hooks’ the reader into choosing one book over countless others.
In this, my sixth installment of ‘Cover Love‘, I’d like to show you several books that feature jars on their covers.
Some I’ve already read, some are on my ‘to read’ list, and some I choose for this post ONLY because of their covers.
Having a jar on the cover is a great ‘hook’ for a fiction book.
Jars can contain any number of yummy things…
Just click on the cover to read thebook’s synopsis from
Goodreads.
You might just find your next favorite book!

I’m loving your Cover Love series as it’s something that I also find myself fixated with. It started with the series of books featuring cupped hands and was going to form the basis of a blog on my own site, but you are covering the topic far better yourself. Here’s an example should you wish to include those (other examples readily available just ask).

Thanks Jill!
I have several more topics to post about on “Cover Love”. They include piers, umbrellas, bicycles, autumn leaves, chairs, treetops, lighthouses etc. Your idea of “cupped hands” sounds like a good one. I will check my Goodreads “To Read” list to see if there are any contenders for this topic. Thanks again.
