I’ve made it abundantly clear over the last few years that I’m a HUGE FAN of the marvelous Fredrik Backman.
His novels have evoked much laughter and more than a tear or two.
So today I was delighted to find this in my mailbox!
A wonderful treat from Simon & Schuster Canada.
My reviews of his novels (so far):
A man called Ove (which just happens to be one of my ALL-TIME favorite novels!)
My grandmother asked me to tell you she’s sorry
And every morning the way home gets longer and longer (a novella that will make you cry until your heart hurts)
What a wonderful surprise!!😀 Having read a couple of his other books (and not aware there are many I haven’t read yet!) I look forward to your review of this one. Enjoy the book – time to cosy up with tea and biscuits!😀

Woohoo! Truly something to be excited about! I still have only read “A Man Called Ove” (if you can believe it…) but his others are all on my TBR list. Speaking of which, my sister saw the movie version last weekend and while she liked it, she said you much preferred the book. I’ve got my name on the holds list for the DVD when it comes into the library. Hope you thoroughly enjoy Bear Town.

If you read just one of Backman’s books let it be “A man called Ove”. He is a curmudgeon who is dear to my heart.

I’m reading my first book by him right now! I just started A Man Called Ove. My best friend recommended the book to me and said it was really good.
