Book themed art of artist Valentin Rekunenko

I haven’t done an art related post in a while, so when I came across this charming little book cottage on Pinterest, I thought it was a perfect time to remedy that.

(look closely and you will discover some ingenious ways he has incorporated books into the cottage)

Рекуненко Валентин Васильович народився в 1955 році в місті Токмак Запорізької області.

Valentin Rekunenko

(I used Google translate, so this might be incorrect.  If you have a better translation, just let me know)

This Ukrainian artist was born in 1955 in the city of Tokmak Zaporozhye region. In 1974 he graduated from Dnipropetrovsk Art College. Since 1987, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

In addition to this charming little book cottage, he has several other pieces with book themes:

In addition to his book-themed art, he has some other wonderful pieces that you can view here.

I’ve always found it curious that people who love to read also love looking at book themed art and even photographs of books.

We are a funny lot…
