Book mail from the brilliant Annie Daylon!

I have just returned home from a twelve day road trip (we drove 6,232 km.) and I was delighted to have this wonderful package in my mailbox.

I found not one, but two of Annie Daylon’s novels with wonderful inscriptions inside!

And… a quote of my review of her latest novel, “At the heart of the missing” is featured on the back cover!  I am so very pleased. This is the first time an author has ever honored me with a quote from my review on the cover of their novel.

There is a GoodReads giveaway contest for “At the heart of the missing“.  To enter the contest click here. This book giveaway is open to GoodReads members in Canada and the United States.  Entry period begins on Apr 05, 2017 and ends on Apr 12, 2017

Of sea and seed” was one of my favorite novels read in 2016.  I read it in digital format so I am thrilled to now own a print copy.  It is set in Newfoundland, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys well written and well researched historical fiction.  Check out my  review of “Of sea and seed”.

If you haven’t yet read anything by Annie Daylon I urge you to do so.  You won’t be disappointed!

Mutual accolades between author and reviewer – fantastic! It must be a great feeling to see your name and words on the back cover 🙂 I’ve not heard of this author; it would seem she’s not much read here in the UK. But Of Sea and Seed particularly appeals. I love most things set in Newfoundland 🙂
