The covers of novels entice the reader to enter a different world. Covers are, after all, the way the publisher ‘hooks‘ the reader into choosing one book over countless others.
In this, my twenty-third installment of ‘Cover Love‘, I’d like to show you books that feature bicycles on their covers.
A topic fitting for the spring season.
Some I’ve already read, some are on my ‘to read’ list,
and some I chose only for their covers.
Some, perhaps, will now be on your TBR!
The covers displaying ‘bicycles’ are examples of many different genres.
Just click on the cover to read the book’s synopsis from Goodreads.
You might just find your next favorite book!
Stay tuned for Cover Love Part 25: “Dandelions”
or… visit any of the other installments of
Cover Love – some of which I’ve updated recently
What is your favorite ‘Cover Love‘ series post so far?
Have you found anything to add to your TBR?
So many well-designed covers here.
This is a fascinating post. Do you own all these books?

Thanks for your comment about my 24th “cover love” post. No, I don’t own all of these books, I just write about their covers when they display a recurring theme.

I had no idea so many titles featured bikes on the cover! I have to admit that Afterward and My Husband’s Son look disturbing. I may have to read more about them ;)5

Another wonderful post! I thought I might see a cover for a WW2 series set in France called The Girl With the Blue Bicycle, it had such pretty covers.

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked up “The girl with the blue bicycle” but couldn’t find it on Goodreads or Amazon. Do you know the author’s name?

If you think that was a lot, wait until you see the post I have planned for “empty swings”. LOL Thanks for commenting Shanah.

Lol!!!! Oh yes there are a TON with empty swings! It’s amazing when you pay attention to a specific simple cover element and you realize how often it’s used.
