The top 10 #thriller and #mystery titles on my TBR

You all know how much I love thrillers and mysteries.

(even though I get burnt out once in a while)

I thought I’d share the top ten titles that I’m really looking forward to reading in the next few weeks.  Feel free to advise me on which one to read first.

Entry Island” by Peter May

The gift” by Louise Jensen

The doll funeral” by Kate Hamer

Seas of snow” by Kerensa Jennings

The darkest lies” by Barbara Copperthwaite

Persons unknown” by Susie Steiner

The missing ones” by Patricia Gibney

The long drop” by Denise Mina

Local girl missing” by Claire Douglas

The girl who was taken” by Charlie Donlea

If you have any opinion about which one(s) I should read first, let me know in the comments.

For your information, of the several thrillers I’ve already read in 2017 my five favorites so far are:

The bird tribunal” by Agnes Ravatn

I see you” by Clare Mackintosh

The beautiful dead” by Belinda Bauer

Gone without a trace” by Mary Torjussen

At the heart of the missing” by Annie Daylon

(My reviews are linked to the titles)

“The Gift” was so, so good! I bought her other book immediately after finishing it (but haven’t gotten to it yet). The concept was pretty intriguing.

Read Louise Jensen’s first novel and loved it – so I’m pretty certain I’ll love “The Gift” as well. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks Christine. Looks like “The girl who was taken” is popular so far… I’m looking forward to “The missing ones” too. I understand the sequel,
“The stolen girls” is already available for preorder.

Ha-ha! So many opinions. I wish I had more eyes to read with. I expect I will like “The gift” as her first book was a favorite of last year. Also, I’m eager to try Barbara Copperthwaite’s new novel. Thanks for your comment Donna.

  9. I really enjoyed The Long Drop by Denise Mina. As it’s a fictionalised take on real events I knew the outcome which makes it slightly different from most crime/thrillers.
