The covers of novels entice the reader to enter a different world. Covers are, after all, the way the publisher ‘hooks‘ the reader into choosing one book over countless others.

I think this might be the actual first (or maybe second…) instance in your Cover Love series that there hasn’t been at least one book that I’ve read (or have on my TBR list…)! Love this series and always look forward to the next one. It’s a great way to be introduced to books and authors. I love this series. It is interesting to see how many covers use the same theme. I am sure that there are many more that would fit here. Great variety of books shown.

good grief! i’m beginning to think the real message here is that there is nothing you can think of that hasn’t been tried–countless times before. while several of my covers were totally original (i.e., my grandfather’s paintings of sailing ships), tall ships were certainly not unique to covers.
