Some of my summer reads were, in my opinion, spectacular reads. Now for the truly difficult decision… Trying to decide on
TOP THREE THRILLERS
“What she knew” by Gilly Macmillan
“Seas of snow” by Kerensa Jennings
“I found you” by Lisa Jewell
TOP THREE MYSTERIES
“Entry Island” by Peter May
“The missing ones” by Patricia Gibney
“The birdwatcher” by William Shaw
TOP THREE LITERARY FICTION
“Lost for words” by Stephanie Butland
“Malagash” by Joey Comeau
“Grief cottage” by Gail Godwin
Honestly, it was hard to pick nine out of the twenty-one titles I’ve read since June 1st. Even then, I read a few that were so close that they almost made the list. How would a person EVER pick ONE favourite book? I couldn’t – I’ve proved that here.
For September, I plan to read the three I skipped from my #20BooksOfSummer challenge plus the oldest three titles from my NetGalley queue.
I hope to read at least these six titles in September:
“A place called Winter” by Patrick Gale (354 p.)
“The story of Arthur Truluv” by Elizabeth Berg (240 p.)
“The long drop” by Denise Mina (320 p.)
“Somebody I used to know” by David Bell (434 p.)
“The alphabet house” by Jussi Adler-Olsen (480 p.)
“The little Paris bookshop” by Nina George (402 p.)
Six titles and 2,230 pages
Wonderful list, of course.

You did very well picking your top three. I never try that, I can never decide. I have three of the six you are hoping to read in September on my TBR so I am waiting to see your reviews. Happy reading this month.
