This is a new spin on my Cover Love posts. Although I still plan to continue my Cover Love series, I just thought it would be sort of fun to concentrate on title words for a change – instead of pictures. Most readers will acknowledge that some words reappear time and time again in titles. Often these words are associated with a particular genre. Case in point: “The girl on the train” and “Gone girl” spawned countless thriller titles with the word ‘girl’ in the title.
This week I’ve chosen the word “WATER“. I know there are thousands of books with the word ‘water’ in the title, but I’m featuring 20 titles that appeal to me personally, as a way of sharing my book love. Some of these titles I’ve read, the rest are on my TBR.
(I’ve limited myself to 20 titles as I tend to get carried away. LOL )
Just click on the cover to read the book’s synopsis from Goodreads.
You might just find your next favorite book!

Are you tempted by any of these covers?
Have you read one of these titles and absolutely LOVED it?
Please let me know in the comments.
I have just recently discovered K.A. Tucker and Karen White, so might read those two. I have read a few others on your list that were good, but not outstanding.

I have the Charles Finch on my bedside table on inter-library loan and next up in my reading schedule. I haven’t read any of this series yet but decided to start with this one that was recently published because I’ve been told that it’s a prequel to the series. Let’s hope that’s correct – or my OCD will kick in! 😉

You’re correct Debbie. “The woman in the water” is the first in a planned ‘prequel trilogy‘ that is set chronologically before the Charles Lenox mystery series.

“let me be like the water” by S.K. Perry and “THE MEMORY OF WATER” by Karen White both appeal to me because of the titles and cover designs. Have you read either of these yet?

No Cynthia. Both of the titles you mentioned are on my TBR. I have read work by Karen White before and really enjoyed it. See my review of “The sound of glass”: https://fictionophile.wordpress.com/2015/06/12/the-sound-of-glass-by-karen-white/ ALSO, here is a review of “Let me be like water” by a blogger I respect: https://itsallaboutthebooksblog.wordpress.com/2018/05/11/let-me-be-like-water-by-s-k-perry-review-blogtour-_sarah_perry-melvillehouse/
