Most readers will acknowledge that some words reappear time and time again in titles. Often these words are associated with a particular genre. Case in point: “The girl on the train” and “Gone girl” spawned countless thriller titles with the word ‘girl’ in the title. What better time to celebrate the word WINTER than the month of January?
I know there are thousands of books with the word ‘winter’ in the title, but I’m featuring 20 titles that appeal to me personally, as a way of sharing my book love. Five of these titles I’ve read, most of the rest are on my TBR.
(I’ve limited myself to 20 titles as I tend to get carried away. LOL )

Oo I spy a Lulu Taylor novel!! I’ve actually just reviewed her latest book ‘The Winter Secret’ today! I think most of her books are set in Winter! I guess it’s quite a clever thing to do to release a winter book. At Christmas people may buy them for friends, and if not they sound cosy enough to get through the winter months with! I have to say I wasn’t disappointed with my latest read, so if you liked her other one I think you’d enjoy this one too! 😁

Thanks for the recommendation. Also, I think your point is very valid in that people buy books with a wintery feel or winter in the title thinking of long, cold, dark, winter days of cozy reading.

A Place Called Winter is a book I adored. As I mentioned earlier this week, Patrick Gale is one of my favourite authors. Also remember loving The Winter Folly. Lulu Taylor seems to have a winter book out each year and they’re always great.

“A place called Winter” was a 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟read for me as well Joanne. It was the only Patrick Gale title I’ve ever read. “The Winter Folly” has been on my TBR for quite some time. I’ve never read anything by Lulu Taylor before.
