As many of you might know, I have been suffering some issues with my eyes lately. This has impacted my reading speed. For that reason, I am only listing eight titles on this month’s TBR. To be honest, I’ll be lucky if I read eight…
Here there are: (as is my usual custom I have linked the cover graphic to Goodreads so that you might learn more about the book)

title from NetGalley & Edelweiss

These all look great and I hope the situation with your eyes improves – Fredrik Backman is one of my favourite authors so I really hope you enjoy that one 😊💛

I’ve loved everything by Fredrik Backman so far. This one is not fiction, so should be different from his norm.

Thanks. The Backman book will be the first non-fiction of his. Should be interesting.

I hope things starting getting better with your vision. I know I had my eyes dilated for one day and I almost had a breakdown! I can’t imagine how frustrating this must be. You have some fantastic picks for May. OMG I am so excited for a bunch of those. I really liked Watching You. I can not wait for Those People as I loved Our House. I really want to read Sweet Little Lies. I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts!!! Hugs and take care xx

Glad you are taking it easy, I sure hope things get better soon. You have some good choices here. I have read Watching You and A Mother’s Confession and enjoyed them both. I have been reading the Backman book and liking it, but it is not like his other books. Enjoy what you get a chance to read.

Oh Carla, I’m a little nervous about the Backman book. I’ve LOVED all his other work and since this in not fiction, I’m afraid to be disappointed…

It is a fun book written to his son. It has had me laughing more than once. I think you will like it, Lynne, but it is not like his other books.

I started the year off well, reading 8 books, but slowly have been reading less and less, and can’t blame that on my eyes. Just bad selections. I hope you eyes get better (if that’s possible) and good luck with the reading. I buy trade paperback because of the slightly lager print. I can’t read onscreen.

I cannot read on a tablet or a phone, but I CAN read with my Kindle which uses E-ink technology. Have you tried reading with E-ink?

I have thought about it, but decided not to buy yet another device I might only use once or twice.

LOL. I’ve read my last 300+ books on my Kindle Paperwhite. I could advertise for them. 📚♥️

Are you listening to audio books during this challenging time with your eyes?

No Carol. It hasn’t come to that yet. I still read on my Kindle but for shorter periods at a time – and with a bigger font.
