Banish the Backlist 2020 – a bookblogger self-challenge

Twenty BACKLIST titles I plan to read in 2020:Although I hate to make New Year’s resolutions, I have promised myself that I will seriously tackle my lengthy backlist of review commitments in 2020. Time flies. I’m not sure how I’ve been so remiss as I should have had these titles read and reviewed long ago…
Anyway, here are TWENTY of my personal backlist titles that I want to make sure I read in 2020:

14. “The Birds that Stay” by Ann Lambert

15. “A Murder of Crows” by Ian Skewis

16. “What my Sister Knew” by Nina Laurin

17. “All These Perfect Strangers” by Aoife Clifford

18. “The Betrayals” by Fiona Neill

19. “Tell Me A Secret” by Samantha Hayes

20. “Dear Amy” by Helen Callaghan

    I know the backlist always seems daunting, but I actually think it’s one of the joys of being a booklover – no matter how many books we devour, there are ALWAYS more great reads to be discovered! 😍 Looking forward to seeing how you go with all of these, hope they’re all wonderful for you!

    Good luck with your challenge! I really enjoyed I Know My Name and The Sisters when I read them so I recommend those two. I managed to get quite a lot of my NG books read towards the end of 2019 but I still need to make a dent in my physical review copies that have been unread on my bookcase longer than they should have so I need to make a plan for getting those read. I may attempt your challenge! 🙂

    Great idea! I have a similar list I keep for myself if books on my shelves I want to read in the upcoming year. The only one from your list I’ve read is The Marsh Kong’s Daughter, but it was really good! Good luck and I hope you enjoy all of these!

    The Marsh King’s Daughter is my absolute favourite from this list. I’ve been banishing one book from my backlist today: I’ve finally started Red Snow by Will Dean.

    Lynne, I didn’t know Elena Forbes has a new series! I really enjoyed the Mark Tartaglia series and miss the characters. I’m sure Eve West will be as interesting!!

    I’m doing something like this. I’ve called it 20 In 2020. I’ve just went through and picked 10 ebooks that are on my kindle and 10 physical books on my shelves that I hope to finally really this year.
