Yup! Today, January 20th, 2020 is Blue Monday. A term (in the northern hemisphere) that describes a Monday in January, typically the third Monday of the month, that is characterized as the most depressing day of the year.
To battle the blues, I decided to embrace them. I scanned my Goodreads TBR to see how many of them have blue covers. I found 30!
If anything looks interesting to you, just click on the cover and it will take you to the Goodreads description.
How could I be BLUE with all of these great titles yet to read?

Wow, I had no idea this was a thing! (Southern Hemisphere-er here, so our Mondays this time of year are anything but blue.) From your blue TBR, can I pop in a hearty recommendation for Big Lies In A Small Town? I’ve just finished reading it and it exceeded my expectations in every respect. I thought it was going to be a potboiler-y domestic thriller, from the title and the cover, but you know what they say about judging a book… 😉 Would love to hear what you think of it!

I did not know about blue Monday. It was sunny and warm here yesterday, so I was not blue. I have 11 of these books on my TBR, so I need to get to some of them. I enjoyed this post Lynne.

Haha. You might have been more ‘blue’ if you were living in Newfoundland. Did you hear how much snow they got?
Enjoy your winter getaway in sunnier climes.

Yes, I have been watching the news from home on my computer. I am amazed. How much snow did you get in NS?

Not much snow in N.S. at all. Around 12 cm. in Dartmouth. Nothing compared to the 80+ cm. that fell in Newfoundland.

Try to get lots of natural light and go outside more often. It really helps. ❤

What a great idea to embrace it! My only problem with your list is that I’ve only read one book on it (The Night Caller) and the rest look so intriguing. Oh well, I guess that just means more for the TBR pile … Fantastic post!
