Wednesday’s Word = AFTER

Most readers will acknowledge that some words reappear time and time again in titles. Often these words are associated with a particular genre. Case in point: “The girl on the train” and “Gone girl” spawned countless thriller titles with the word ‘girl’ in the title.

Living through a global pandemic, I’m certain we are all wondering what happens AFTER? So, I thought it would be a great topic for this week’s ‘Wednesday’s Word’. I know there are hundreds of books with the word ‘after’ in the title, but I’m featuring a selection of 24 titles that appeal to me personally, as a way of sharing my book love.

Just click on the cover to read the book’s synopsis from Goodreads.
You might just find your next favorite book!

I am a huge Lisa Scottoline fan, so have read After Anna. It was good and a bit creepy. I have a couple of these on my TBR, but there are a couple I am going to check out. I am always surprised to see what you come up with in your Cover Love and Word posts, Lynne.

I’ve read quite a few of these. The Harriet Evans cover appeals. It is much nicer than the UK one!
