#BookRecommendations with titles that start with the letter ‘A’ #booklovers #bookbloggers

It occurred to me at year end that everyone shares their favourite reads at that time. Well I’m setting out to change that!

I have decided that every month I’ll compile a post that lists my favourite reads that begins with a letter of the alphabet. I’ll do this for two years until the alphabet is exhausted, (or I am…) LOL

So, for January 2021, I’m listing all of my favourite novels that begin with the letter ‘A‘. I am choosing these titles from the books I’ve read since I began blogging seriously – five years ago (when I retired).

If the title begins with an initial article such as The, A, An etc., I will be using the second word.  For instance, “A Man called Ove” will be included in my M post. “The Silent Patient” will be listed in my S post.

Hopefully you’ll find something that interests you from these posts. As always, I’ve linked the book cover to Goodreads, and the title link will take you to my review of the book. I’ve included only those books that I’ve rating 4 stars or higher.

All In Her Head” by Nikki Smith

Anxious People” by Fredrik Backman

Across the Water” by Ingrid Alexandra

All Things Cease to Appear” by Elizabeth Brundage

After the Crash” by Michel Bussi

Apologizing to Dogs” by Joe Coomer

After the Lie” by Kerry Fisher

Alex” by Pierre Lemaitre

After the End” by Clare Mackintosh

The Authenticity Project” by Clare Pooley

The Au Pair” by Emma Rous

If you have already read any of these titles, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

I have The Authenticity Project in my pile, so going to have to read that one. Huge fan of Fredric Backman, so I have to pick up a copy of his Anxious People.

    Thanks for this feature!
