Wednesday’s Word = HEART #WednesdaysWord #booklovers

Most readers will acknowledge that some words reappear time and time again in titles. Often these words are associated with a particular genre. Case in point: “The girl on the train” and “Gone girl” spawned countless thriller titles with the word ‘girl’ in the title.

My pick for Wednesday’s Word this week is a ‘no-brainer’. With Valentine’s Day looming, how could I not pick the word ‘HEART’. ♥♥♥ In this post I’ve selected just a few of the novels with the word ‘heart’ in the title as a way of sharing my book love.

I think most of these titles are classified in the thriller and mystery genre, though, as with anything, there are a few exceptions. I think it is interesting to note that of the 27 titles in this selection only ONE actually has a heart shape on the cover.

Just click on the cover to read the book’s synopsis from Goodreads.

You might just find your next favorite book!

Are you tempted by any of these covers?

Which cover MOST APPEALS to YOU?
Have you read one of these titles and absolutely LOVED it?

If you’ve added even ONE of these titles to YOUR TBR,
Please let me know in the comments.

I don’t like the cover of The Heart’s Invisible Furies, but it was a great book. I think the cover I like the best, or the one that stood out to me the most is the last one, Cross Her Heart by Sarah Pinborough. Great post Lynne.

  5. You know, I’ve never read anything by Atwood. I’m making a note to look at some of her books the next time I’m at the library.

I’ve been meaning to read Every Heart a Doorway, and the rest of the series. I love that your heart books are not romance – nice juxtaposition!
