Wednesday’s Word = NEIGHBOR #WednesdaysWord #booklovers

Most readers will acknowledge that some words reappear time and time again in titles. Often these words are associated with a particular genre. Case in point: “The girl on the train” and “Gone girl” spawned countless thriller titles with the word ‘girl’ in the title.

My pick for Wednesday’s Word this week is ‘NEIGHBOR‘. In this post I’ve selected 24 novels with the word ‘NEIGHBOR’ in the title as a way of sharing my book love. This is one of those words that is spelled differently in North America vs. The United Kingdom so you will find both variants of the spelling among these titles. (neighbour vs. neighbor)

These titles cover a broad range of  genres – with literary fiction, mystery, women’s fiction, and thrillers to name but a few.

Just click on the cover to read the book’s synopsis from Goodreads.

You might just find your next favorite book!

Are you tempted by any of these covers?

Which cover MOST APPEALS to YOU?
Have you read one of these titles and absolutely LOVED it?

If you’ve added even ONE of these titles to YOUR TBR,
Please let me know in the comments.

Excellent post, Lynne! It makes sense that quite a few of these books are mysteries!

There are surprisingly many “good neighbours” that I expect are actually really bad neighbours, judging by the cover, which we are not supposed to do but still always do 😂

Some of these have very appealing covers. I guess it’s one of those things that most people can relate to as most people have neighbours! We’ll be moving on to a military base in a few months, and they are well known for having neighbours that get up in your business… maybe I’ll be inspired to write a book haha.

That’s interesting that many of the Neighbor books are creepy books! I’ve never had a creepy neighbor, and I’m glad I haven’t!
