I haven’t done an art related post in a while, so when I came across this artist’s work on Pinterest, I thought it was a perfect time to remedy that. Heatherlee Chan uses watercolor paints to share her love of books and other beautiful things.

Heatherlee Chan is a watercolor artist living in Southern California. She is mostly known for painting pictures of friendship, flowers, and nature.
She claims to be an old fashioned girl that cannot get enough of books, flowers, vast skies, old houses with attics, butterflies, and gorgeous dresses.
Her childhood was spent with her nose in a book adoring heroines with spirit. Because of that first love, she likes to paint pictures that tell a story.
As an artist, she sells her art in her shop and shares her process on Instagram. Her work is licensed on products such as greeting cards, wall art, stationery, fabric, and garden flags. She also illustrated a watercolor coloring book by Klutz called Watercolor Crush.

These are so beautiful and dreamlike, I love them Lynne. I am going to visit her website and bookmark it as I can see that first and third print on the walls of my new house in a couple of years.
