Fictionophile’s OCTOBER 2021 Reading Wrap-Up #MonthlyWrapUp

In the past month I’ve read TEN titles. And, would you believe it, three of them were 5 star reads!

I enjoyed every one of them, some more than others of course.

One obvious choice for my book of the month in October. The Last House On Needless Street” by Catriona Ward

I loved it! “The Last House on Needless Street” is probably one of the most unique, original, twisted, and riveting reads I’ve had for quite some time.

In three words: original, dark, compelling.

AND TWO WORTHY RUNNER-UPS:Blood Sisters” by Jane Corry

A compelling read with many serious themes running throughout. Highly recommended!

The Thin Place” by C.D. Major

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and recommend it highly to those who enjoy an atmospheric story jam-packed with family secrets.

I feel very lucky to have access to so many wonderful books. All the books above are reviewed here on the blog if you want to take a look.
