Yup! Today, January 17th, 2022 is Blue Monday. A term (in the northern hemisphere) that describes a Monday in January, typically the third Monday of the month, that is characterized as the most depressing day of the year.
To battle the blues, I decided to embrace them. I scanned my Goodreads TBR to see how many of them have blue covers. I found 34!

Oooh, that’s a fun fact! I’ve never heard of Blue Monday (being a Southern Hemispherian, it’s not our winter blues season) but what a great prompt for a post! If anyone’s not sure where to start with these, can I +1 the recommendation for Big Lies In A Small Town? That book was such a pleasant surprise, it really knocked my socks off – I’m still thinking about it!

I agree, reading a good book, especially a humorous one is a great cure for Blue Monday. Funny thing, January 17 is my brother’s birthday. So many great titles here.

I’m reading a great little novel now that has made me chuckle out loud a few times. I think it is one you might enjoy too Carla. My review will be posted next Wednesday.
