The Covid-19 restrictions are being lifted here in Nova Scotia, despite the fact that new cases occur daily. For health reasons, most all of what I’ve been doing lately has been very close to home.
This week my husband and I finished watching “Deadwater Fell” starring David Tennant, Cush Jumbo, Anna Madeley and Matthew McNulty. It was a brilliant crime drama that I highly recommend! (we borrowed the DVD box-set from the library)
I’m absolutely loved the new season of “All Creatures Great and Small“. Years ago I loved the first television version of the show and was hesitant to view the new version. I needn’t have worried as I love it just as much as the original. Now I’m impatiently waiting for the next season. I’m told I have a long wait.
We are also watching season 4 of “Unforgotten” starring Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar. Another brilliant British crime drama that we have been borrowing from our local library.
Just when I though every bit of snow had disappeared, we got some more! My grandson loves it and he is now going to the rink! Such a big boy!

I’ve read 23 books already this year.
I’m determined to read and review more backlist titles this year and have read three of them so far.
I trying to get as much reading done as possible because I have another major surgery looming and will likely be out of commission for a few weeks.
I’m enjoying playing the new online game WORDLE and I’m totally hooked! I’ve played 45 times so far and here are my stats:
Here are the instructions for the game, just in case you want to click on the link above:
What are the rules of Wordle?
-
- You have to guess the Wordle in six goes or less.
- You begin by entering any five letter word.
- Every word you enter must be in the word list.
- A correct letter in the right place turns green.
- A correct letter in the wrong place turns yellow.
- An incorrect letter turns gray.
- Letters can be used more than once.
Just a heads-up… there are imitation Wordle games available for download however the REAL Wordle game is played online with NO download needed!
February is not only my birthday month, it is the birthday month of my lovely daughter-in-law!What have YOU been up to this week? Let me know in the comments. ♥
It sounds like you had a good month Lynne. I also start the day with Wordle, it is a fun little way to get the brain going. I loved All Creatures Great & Small, it was so well done. Happy Belated Birthday to your DIL. 😁

I feel you on the lifting of restrictions – here in Sydney, we’re down to only mandatory masks on public transport and in health settings, otherwise it’s open slather. Bizarre and terrifying! Got my fingers crossed for you with the upcoming surgery, wishing you a speedy recovery! x

oh gees, Lynne, between you and several other bloggers I follow, I got curious about Wordle (as I did with Pokemon) and finding the official online site started playing without a clue what I was doing–and it shows in my stats. I’m working on it. it’s addictive so I shared the idea with my daughter. having totally blown the first few games, I’m finally on board and daughter and I have quite the rivalry going now. Game on!

I’ve tried all three too Nicki. I love Wordle, I’m fond of Quordle, but I’m not really a fan of Nerdle. Anything dealing with numbers gives me a sore head. 🤯🤕
