My Tuesday post where I’ll ‘tease‘ you with the cover, blurb, and first paragraph of one of the titles from my own TBR.
This book is a title I received directly from
Welbeck Publishing and it is on my September TBR.
Today, Tuesday August 9, 2022 I want to introduce one of the ARCs on my TBR.
This novel will be published on Sept. 6, 2022 (but was released last year in the United Kingdom)
Publisher: Welbeck Publishing Group
ISBN: 9781802794076 – ASIN: B0B7F4NDKM – 464 pages
1) The author. I read her title “Hello from the Gillespies” back in 2015 and greatly enjoyed it.
2) The blurb says that this is “a great big hug of a book” and I’m needing a hug – how about you?
3) The settings.
4) The theme of the value of ‘found families’.
“By the time Eliza Maxine Olivia Miller was eleven, she had lived in eight different country towns. Her mother liked to move a lot.”
Is this a title that you would consider adding to your TBR pile?
Why, or why not?
Let me know in the comments.
i enjoy coming to your site when I can and am amazed how you find the time to read such a range of books. My latest book read was “Where the Crawdads Sing”. The success of the book has brought the author’s life into the public spotlight, for example her time spent in Africa. i wonder if it is the publicity that successful author gets that is holding me back from writing a best seller. Just kidding.
