Teaser Tuesday – August 23, 2022 #NewBook #TeaserTuesday #TheIrishBoardingHouse @Bookouture #TuesdayBookBlog @SandyTaylorAuth

My Tuesday post where I’ll ‘tease‘ you with the cover, blurb, and first paragraph of one of the titles from my own TBR.

This book is a title I received from Bookouture via
NetGalley and it is on my September TBR.

Today, Tuesday August 23, 2022 I want to introduce one of the ARCs on my TBR.

This novel will be published on Sept. 1, 2022Publisher: Bookouture

ISBN: 9781803140834 –  ASIN: B0B63P3T5L –  358 pages

1)  The Dublin Ireland setting.

2)  The feeling of connection to an old house.

3) Convoluted family history and secrets.

4) I’m in the mood for some ‘heart-warming’ fiction.

“Mary Kate Ryan knew all about being abandoned. Her own mother had given birth to her and immediately disappeared off the face of the earth, never to be seen or heard from again, leaving her in the care of her beloved grandparents, whom she had adored. They had been in their fifties when they had taken her in and they had cared for her as if she had been their own.”

Is this a title that you would consider adding to your TBR pile?

Why, or why not?

Let me know in the comments.

  1. Hm… the opening paragraph doesn’t draw me in much, but the concept of the book does sound good. Not sure, to be honest.
