My armchair travels took me to the North Carolina, USA (Loving the Dead and Gone); Northern Florida, USA (The Marsh Queen); Edinburgh, Scotland (Black Hearts) ; Rathlin Island, Northern Ireland (The Couple at Causeway Cottage) ; rural Sweden (The Winners) ; London and the North Pennines, England (The Guest House) ; New York City, USA (The Matchmaker’s Gift) ; Quebec, Canada (Whale Fall); and finally Suffolk, England (The Legacy of Halesham Hall)

In this past month I’ve read NINE titles.

I enjoyed every one of them, some more than others of course.

My review of “The Winners” by Fredrik Backman
AND WORTHY RUNNER(s)-UP:

My review of “Loving The Dead And Gone” by Judith Turner-Yamamoto

and  “Black Hearts” by Doug Johnstone

I feel very lucky to have access to so many wonderful books and hope that you had a great reading month. I hope 2022 is being kind to all of you. ♥
